One of those is the big and flashy gelding HEART OF THE SUN, an Ontario bred who figures to be favoured in the day's featured race 4, a $12,000 maiden allowance dash at 300 yards.
AJAX DOWNS, MONDAY MAY 30, 2022 - Ontario Quarter Horse racing fans are in for a treat on the fourth day of the 2022 Ajax Downs season, Wednesday, June 1, with the ninth running of the $29,880 Picov Maturity for older horses and two Trials for the $50,000 Princess Derby for 3-year-old fillies.
Ajax Downs will celebrate its Quarter Horse racing fans with Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, May 22, 2022, the first of several special Sunday event days during the track's 25-day meeting. Fans in attendance will have a chance to enter for betting voucher prizes and they can receive a free mug for every program purchase.
Fresh off a spectacular opening day of its 25-day Ontario Quarter Horse racing season, Ajax Downs will race two days this coming week.
