The Draft Horse Futurity began with David and Margo Carson in 2010 when David auctioned futurity weanlings and yearlings to bidders to begin the first 2 year old futurity competition in 2011.  The futurity program has proven to be popular and successful each year.  On average, the futurity sees approximately 30 foals sold each year with approximately 2/3 of the foals returning to compete 2 years later.
