At this time, we have decided to cancel the first two weeks of training, this puts our first possible training date at April 20, 2020. As we move forward in these unique and difficult circumstances, we will continue to evaluate the start of training along with the start of racing.

The Ontario Government announced last month that it would allot up to $105 million annually to horse racing industry stakeholders over a 19-year period. All three racing sectors (thoroughbred, standardbred and quarter horse) signed the agreement.
The Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame is pleased to announce its 2018 ballot. A total of 30 horses and people comprised of 15 Thoroughbred and 15 Standardbred candidates, have been selected to appear on the voting ballot. A 20-person Election Committee for each breed will determine the winners in their respective categories. Results will be announced Tuesday, April 10th.
