Daniel Bluman (ISR) and Gemma W were the definite ones to beat during MLSJ Toronto at Angelstone Tournaments. After clinching the qualifier earlier in the week, Bluman and Gemma W, an 11-year-old KWPN mare (Luidam x Unaniem) owned by Blue Star investments ended on a high note by winning the $214,300 Kubota CIS5* Grand Prix.

Herning, Denmark – Tiffany Foster of Langley, BC, placed 12th in the Individual Final on Sunday, August 14, at the ECCO FEI 2022 World Championships in Herning, Denmark. Foster, 38, was the only Canadian to qualify for the two-round Individual Final. After three days of jumping, the top 25 riders from the original starting field of 103 qualified for the first round with the top 12 moving forward to a second round to determine the individual medals.

Any doubt that champion HAD TO BE IVORY might have a bit of trouble shortening up to 250 yards in the August 3 feature at Ajax Downs was erased as fast as the big gelding broke from the gate. The Ontario-bred 7-year-old, owned and bred by Carol Robertson and daughter-in-law Jaime in Hillsburgh, had a very sharp start and was hand ridden to the finish by jockey Josh Scott. His time of 12.954 translated to a whopping 108 speed index.
