Exciting news for our shows!!

The excitement is building here at J&J Reining Inc, with our first show just around the corner the Steel City Spin (June 10 – 12)!!!

We’re thrilled to announce the following line-up of classes – and with over $27,000 of added monies and tons of prizes it’s sure to be a great event for everyone!

Ranch Classes

Last year we held one ranch class and as it was so popular, we’ve decided to offer TWO ranch classes in our June show. Last class Friday and first class Sunday. These classes are not AQHA sanctioned, anyone can enter as long as you have a horse and can ride the pattern!

Green Reiner Class Circuit Series

For any level of Green Reiner, there are two classes this show and two classes in the August show – get a score for each class and your scores are added up, at the August show after the Green Reiner class we’ll announce the J&J Reining Inc Green Reiner Circuit Series champion – the highest score wins! There’s a trophy for the winner and tons of prizes for other entrants.

Youth Class Circuit Series

We’re also holding a circuit series championship for our Youth riders – there are two age groups for this, 13- and under and 14 – 18. Same as the Green Reiner – ride in all classes, your scores are added up and at the August show our two circuit series champions will be announced. Lots of prizes too for our Youth riders!

Derby Saturday Night

For horses aged 4 – 7 this will be a very exciting event as both Professional and Non-Professional riders battle it out to win in their divisions - $14,000 added monies to the derby!

Maturity Sunday

For horses aged 8 and older, the Maturity also has Pro and Non-Pro riders competing for $4,000 added monies!

**Every ride will be videoed and pictures taken by Tom von Kapherr**Saturday night features a sponsored dinner for our competitors (family and friends can buy dinner tickets) and live music from the band Detour who thrilled us all last year! The whole Steel City Spin show will be live-streamed on Facebook.**

THANK YOU to all our sponsors and supporters – without you there would be no show!

What Our Clients Think

  • Horses are more secure and comfortable when trailering if they can face the rear, but they prefer openings.
